Guest guest
I have been a computer programmer for the past 10 years and never had any headache problems so far. But from the past week I'm suffering from mild head-ache and eye-strain which comes and goes. I regularly practice Yoga and now I've switched to specific Yoga poses for this problem. I'm following the asana sequence given in BKS Iyengar's yoga therapy book Adho Mukha Virasana Jaanu Shirshasana Paschimattasana with feet apart Prasarita Padottanasana Adho Mukha Shvanasana Uttanasana Halasana Supta baddha Konasana Supta Virasana Viparita Karani Shavasana It gives me great relief during the poses and for about 1 hour. When I get to work and start looking at the monitor the problem starts again. There hasnt been any significant changes in my diet. Its a typical South Indian diet we have. Like rice, sambar, sauted veggies etc Any Ayurvedic remedies for this problem ? I drink a lot of cold water, cold milk, cold juice and eat cold fruits from the fridge. Should this be avoided ? Thanks and regards DT
Guest guest
Dear DT, Can we consider growing age and the continuous strain on your eye muscles as a cause of head-ache and eye-strain? What we can achieve easily at age of 20 cannot be always achieved at age of 40. Is it not true? Sometimes relaxing your eyes and reducing your exposure to computer screen is more effective than medicines. Guest guest
There is a style to do everything, and in harmony with your body. When body is forced to offer certain response, it must be given some concession too. Your problem has been discused earlier. please visit: http://health.ayurveda/message/6889 _______________ > I have been a computer programmer for the past 10 years and never > had any headache problems so far.
