Meat Choices

Everyone can choose what they eat John - its up to you - you need to ask - if

you do not wish to ask for your preference then again that is your choice, I

have eaten all over the world, in airlines, in jails, in hospitals, and

everywhere, world wide, I have been given vegetarian foods.

The part of John's posting that most disturbs me is that somhow he

feels that it is offensive to be a vegetarian, and to avoid offending

we should eat meat when it is presented. I do not serve meat to

meateaters in my house, I expect they are intelligent enough to solve

the problem on their own. I would not be offended if they refused to

eat my food. But I have never had that happen most meateaters who take

food with my family seem to be very happy with the food. I have had

vegetarians refuse to take food in my house because of caste issues. I

was not offended, each person has a right to choose for themselves.

Like Jane I have traveled from one end of the earth to the other for

many years and never ate one bite of non-veg, I never encountered

anyone who seemed offended. Maybe John is looking for an excuse to eat

meat, if this is the issue then he should understand that, and do what

he thinks is right on the issue and not blame it on the meateaters,

whatever he decides.
