Devotion, meditation, keen observation and love for profession

of " helping people lead healthy life " , gives a gift to Vaidya.

Catching a disorder even before it shows up as symptoms of a

specific disease. Hands, feet and face are mirrors to health. Just

see how much indication hair and nails give. The nutritional

deficiencies are now being detected by hair analysis! Vaidya has to

be observant and add to his knowledge. If disease is detected well

before it has gathered " strong symptoms " even home remedies are seen

to work, without resorting to extracts, antibiotics etc.

Modern tests, while helping patients giving proof that something is

wrong, author came across several instances where tests were

misleading. Author is not prejudiced against the tests, but the

malpractices have crept in, which cause tears. Even ECGs are not

reliable! In few cases, certain medication is needed " life-long " was

also seen wrong, but addiction required long time to remove, thanks

to satvik medicines from mother cow!

When the statement reg. tests was made for PCOS, the indications on

body were also given as retained in original appended message here.

Every chronic disease leaves its future footprint in sufficient

advance on body or natal chart, unfortunately that is not the

subject taught to vaidyas these days.

Author is not averse to using modern terminology, since modern

population finds it easy to understand and correlate with modern

science practice. Tests help modern thinking patient feel certain

that he has a specific disorder, as also practitioners to impress

his clients by predicting in advance such a test outcome. But

patient feels more impressed by cure rather than such things.

Unfortunately, there have been instances were tests are misleading.

Beauty of Ayurveda is no difficulty for a vaidya if a disease is

undefined by name, if vaidya can understand patients doshas in

totality by pulse, not symptoms alone, and also make a proper

synthesis of the situation. If that is the case, vaidya can as well

recommend kaphagenic diet to a child suffering from worms, or a

person suffering from gas +bloating. Also, correct herbal

recommendation will arise, even if vaidya does not know whether a

certain condition is called PCOS in modern science, it arises from

insulin resistance etc.

Patient tells his present symptoms, but his earlier situation,

scars, trauma by previous modern medication, totality must be taken

into account. Hence synthis and not analysis.

Real test for a vaidya is to tell patient what he is suffering from,

without a single modern test, or patient speaking a word. Of course

patient must allow complete examination as desired by vaidya. When

we say modern tests are necessary to understand disease in a better

sense, we have to admit that ayurveda has deficiencies or lacks

sufficient sense. We need modern tests, since we dislike doing the

urine tests, feces tests ourselves. Modern science has created cast

classes, where a consultant is a brahmin, surgen a kshatriya, drug

company Vaisya and pathologist or technician a shoodra ( as he

handles wastes of body). Look at preferences after CET and this

becomes obvious. Not many would like to take up physiotherapy, if

bds admission is available. ayurveda is of course last choice for

most, it is only few who would like to go to ayurveda, despiet mbbs

admission feasibility! How many practice 100% ayurveda after going

to field? A question posed by Jagannath on this list still remains

unanswered!

While author admits there are karmic diseases, incurables, but

ayurveda community should keep researching and adding to their

storehouse. Panchgavya medicines e.g. Many cancer tumors have become

dormant, if patient did not have a history of surgery, chemo and

radiations! This is new addition to ayurveda, and not many

practitioners are willing to add, since Cancer Industry itself

growing at rate better than multiplication rate of malignant cells.

And author has seen MD(Ayu) giving vaccine jabs! Why not ayurvedic

community teach people reg ayurvedic vaccines. We should offer

better alternative to modern science rather than taking its help to

further real interests of Vaisyas!

suggested here since remote patient. Vaidya should not suggest any

modern tests. Darkening of skin on knees, elbow-joint, back side of

neck, ankle bone, groin, arm-pits. skin tags, brownish spots of

wheat grain size on cheeks where acne normally show up, excess fat

near navel, double chin, so many indications!!
