Guest guest
Hi … When I was going to school for Ayurveda I was like all the other students in my class and wanted to know my Prakriti {primordial nature} and one student evaluated me and said I was Pitta/Vata and the director and founder of the school said I was primarily Pitta, and then an intern said I was Vata/Pitta, so I asked my teach " who came from and learned it in India " and she said I was tri-dostic… I was getting a little discouraged when another intern who was from India told me that in India they never really look at the Prakriti, because the Vikriti {imbalance or disease} can mask the Prakriti. That made a lot of sense when I heard that… In fact you can move to a different climate and your Prakriti can actually change… Your top list definitely sounds like a Pitta Prakriti… and you bottom list sounds like a Vata/Kapha…Vikriti {imbalance} I have always hated diagnosing and prescribing over the Internet, because there is so much more to it then that… If you can't find a competent Ayurvedic doctor in your area I suggest you take a hard look at the Ayurvedic and Chinese food list I posted in the files on this site and try and figure which foods will match up with eliminating your symptoms… there is also a Vata/Kapha there that will help, if that indeed this is the imbalance you are experiencing … Good luck …Noel… _____ > I think my I'm a Pitta person. Guest guest
PS… For Yogasana, and your symptoms, go to the right on this page and tag new files… when it takes you to the file page, tag articles {the first one} and then tag Noel Gilberts Files… at the bottom of that list, there is Yogasana for all the doshas and their symptoms… You might have to copy, paste and enlarge it to be able to read it… Good luck …Noel… -- In ayurveda , " Noel Gilbert " <noel_glbrt wrote: > > Hi … When I was going to school for Ayurveda I was like all the other > students in my class....<snip>
Guest guest
Ok I need to correct myself here! You'll have to forgive me, I am having a weird week and it is making me spacey {Vata}… At the bottom I forgot the word diet in front of the fraise Vata/Kapha… But it doesn't real matter because there is no such diet, because they are total opposites… The symptoms on the bottom list you posted, are more of a condition known as Vata drying out Kapha and trying to push it. This is caused by a long time {chronic} Vata condition going un- treated verses a {acute} recent on set Vata condition… See why I hate to do this over the Internet… Anyway the Vata condition should be treated first with the Vata diet {which there is in the files} along with internal oleation {I like the molecularly distilled Fish oil from Nordic Naturals, But I am not a vegetarian} you can use sesame seed oil if you are. External oleation {Abhyanga} use sesame oil with your condition… Try to cut out any stress in your life and " MEDITATE " I cannot stress this enough. I prefer everybody to meditate 3 hours a day, at 1-hour increments; Morning, Noon and Night... Now I know your not going to do this, so do the best you can… Have a good day…Noel… ayurveda , " Noel Gilbert " <noel_glbrt wrote: > > Hi … When I was going to school for Ayurveda I was like all the other > students in my class and wanted to know my Prakriti {primordial > nature} ....<snip>
