Guest guest
First try the change of diet as well as herbs described in an old message: http://health.ayurveda/message/6375 This approach has been seen to work for most. In case any difficulty in obtaining herbs, tablets communicate. Guest guest
Dear Savitha, Many times uterine bleedings are caused due to imbalances in oestrogen-pregesterone axis. In such cases, herbal treatment does not yield immediate results. Styptic herbal drugs will be more effective when the endometrial vessels bleed more due to intra-uterine congestion. So in hormonal imbalances, you may have to use the hormones themselves to settle the issue. And also please note that Ayurveda is not a cure-all science. It also has its own limitations, at least in the present times. Guest guest
Dear Jane, This is your mis-notion and maybe blind faith about Ayurveda. Every herb has a limitation.as stated in the reference from Charak Samhita PRATI NIYAT SHAKTIKANI BHESHAJ DRAVYANI BHAVANTI When the ayurvedic seers mentioned the category of diseases as incurable ( ASAADHYA ), they indicated the limitations of medicinal activity of herbs. Emotionalism has no place in practical and scientific outlook. Everyone should accept the harsh truth and ground realities about the real perspective of Ayurveda. Dr.D.B.Muzumdar. Guest guest
Dear Jane, You have taken my words in wrong context. I said that each herb has its own limitations. Like ginger has its own properties and will show medical activity accordingly. The same with all the other herbs also. This does not mean that Ayurveda was limited to herbs. Ayurveda uses plants, animal parts, minerals, metals, precious/semiprecious stones for medicinal purposes. This is the YUKTI-VYAPASHRAY part of Ayurveda treatments the other two being DAIVA-VYAPASHRAY and SATTVAVAJAY typres of treatments mainly useful in Karmic disorders, Graha disorders and mental disorders. I feel that should clear your understanding.
