Guest guest
Dear Dr. Venu Gopal ji, I appreciate your reply. I was not able to start the treatment because I had to go to US for few weeks. Now I am back and want to start it. Today I went to medical shop to purchase medicines. Out of the four tailas suggested, I am not able to get two tails in here in Indore. I was not able to get Ashwagandhabala lakshaadi taila. Instead there was another taila called Chandanabala lakshaadi taila. I bought that. Is it the same or different one? I also bought Ashwagandha taila, in case you were referring to that? I was also not able to get Rasa Tailam. What they suggested me is that it should be " Rason Taila " . I bought that too. Is that correct? Please suggest, so that I can proceed further? Thanks & regards Bitto " Dr. Venu Gopal M.D (Ayurveda) " <dr_venug wrote: Dear Bitto! Certainly ayurveda helpful by means of improving power in the leg.If you do not bother about the slow improvement i would suggest the following medicines... In such cases massage is the main factor that improves muscle bulk and power. Take 1.Ashwagandhabala lakshaadi taila 2.Rasa Tailam 3.Mahamasha tailam 4.Maha narayana tailam Mix all together in to any container. Gently warm sufficient mixed oil then massage the leg from waist daily. This yourself can do.Continue the massage till you get required improvement.Though it may take several months but massage is must. For internal use Take 1.Tab.Ekangaveer ras 1 tab morning with ghee and honey 2.Tab.Vatagajankush ras. 1 tab in the evening with ghee and honey Stop these two tablets after a month the provide your feed back.... I wish You all the best Dear.... Bitto Bandhu <bittobandhu wrote: Hi, My left leg is affected by polio for the last 24 years. Right now I am 28 years old. I can walk, but there are certain muscles (e.g. quadriceps, foot dorsiflexor, adductor) that are totally powerless. Is there any cure (or at least some way for improvement) for polio in Ayurveda. Can Ayurveda help in strengthening the muscles? What are the ayurvedic medicines and panchkarma you will suggest?
