Guest guest
Hi Im looking for a good skin specialist in Bangalore. I have a rash on my leg for nearly 10 months, initially it was itching and later it reduced. but it has left a black mark and the skin part of it is quiet hard. Occasionally i get itching too. Want to consult some good skin specialist for getting this cured. Also I get some pimples on my face rarely, but whenever it occurs it leaves a black spot, which doesnt vanish for years together. Tried lot of natural stuff like multhani matti, sandal wood paste, milk with honey etc.. nothng really helped. Also for the past 1 yr, Im growing too dark and my complexion has gone too dull ( as such Im not fair complexioned, I have only normal complexion) Please help. Looking forward for your valuable inputs. Thanks Jayanthi
Guest guest
Dear Jayanthi Some of the most common causes for a dark skin or complexion include heredity, hyperpigmentation of melanin and skin disorders which cause severe itching and leaves the skin thick, dark and patchy. Suppression of itches, rashes by using steroidal creams brings one to this stage, as a general observation. If immune system is suppressed by us, it leaves this mess. Normally, when immune system takes care of the problem, it cleans the mess by itself. all that you may have to provide is some skin tonic such as aloe vera gel, milk+honey+almond oil etc. Though allopathic immuno-suppresants relieve itching, growth of rashes, the body tries to eliminate the toxins through skin, treating skin as second kidney. Itching is the result of body trying to eliminate toxin particles. When one undergoes a total liver detox, author has seen that itching reduces, skin lightens, many blemishes vanish, all by themselves, without any medication. Even total liver detox practiced by this author does not use any medicine except naturally available fruits, vegetables and foods. In case this is not possible for you, at least try to balance the diet, leaving body to take care of the situation. Body pays least attention to legs and feet as long as they move properly. There are no particular foods that will lighten your skin instantly, a balanced diet will help by giving your skin a healthy glow. Drinking an optimum amount of water hydrates your skin and keeps it blemish free. Some recommendations regarding diet are as follows – Avoid excessive consumption of heavy and oily foods, dairy and bakery foods, as also those made from maida. Incorporate whole cereals, pulses, fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet. Wheat available in most shops in India is GM wheat. See if you can take it only once a day, say lunch only. An example of whole grain is Avalakki (Pohe) in Kannada. Drink at least 3-4 liters of water every day. Water washes out the toxins from the body. If you take heem made from coriander seeds, cumeen seeds, fenel seeds discussed at http://health.ayurveda/message/7720 some change may be seen. A test is suggested here: If you take lemon water (1 lemon juice, 1 glass water, honey added to reduce sourness) three times a day, immune system springs to action in a matter of 3-4 days. If itch restarts on a low scale it indicates that all that you need is liver detox combined with steam sauna, mud bath taking about 10 days total. ayurveda , " Jayanthi.
