Guest guest
Raji, BTW I also want to add that all these methods I use, they do help my child considerably ONLY during regular days. (I added a filter for the shower too). When the spring season starts & pollen comes into picture, I FEEL ABSOLUTELY HOPELESS. Throughout the day, at nights & middle of the sleep, my son is also scratching his legs / arms, that he starts to bleed. It is awful to see him suffering. Putting on tons of moisturizer / oil massage / humidifier / strict diet... nothing helps him during spring. As this occurs at School too & I feel so guilty, I HAD TO start giving him " claritin " tablet today. (It is an antihistamine, that makes him spacy, drowzy etc. but reduces the allergy symptoms (itchy watery eyes / eczyma / sneezes / itchy throat etc). I have no other go). I wish there is a magical Ayurveda medicine to attack this problem & help the children in need! Regards, Amrutha
Guest guest
I think you may need to do a little mini cleanse ofr him in the spring then very mild herbs and perhpas in the form of a tincture to cleanse the blood --- amrutha_naveen <amrutha_naveen wrote: <snip> > When the spring season starts & pollen comes into > picture, I FEEL > ABSOLUTELY HOPELESS. Guest guest
I just wanted to add that although I have never tried the eczema cream from that website, I have tried the hayfever/allergy/asthma remedy from the same maker and it does indeed work. Good luck.
Guest guest
Dear Amruta, I wish your wish could be fulfilled by a magical Ayurvedic medicine and subsequently all authentic Ayurvedic doctors (vaidyas) be labelled as shamans / magicians. This typical mind-set has let to a wrong notion that Ayurveda is so very unscientific and all Ayurved Practitioners are fraud / charlatans. On the contrary, Ayurveda is a systematically and scientifically expounded health science that has been tried, tested and experienced over generations together. I would sincerely advise you to take the opinion of a good Ayurvedic doctor who can give you good justice through a balanced treament of Panchkarma, Rasayana and internal medicines for immediate relief as well as preventive purposes. Guest guest
Dear Online Friends, Those who develop good physical resistance, do not get affected by seasonal allergens like the pollen. When I was in New York in May/June, I found almost all New Yorkers were sneezing, using paper napkins one after the other filling up dust bins. But with God's grace and yoga especially pranayams that I practice daily, I was not affected. Hence regular practice of Yoga and Pranayam, of course with due care of your food intake, can keep you healthy under various trying situations. I would like to share this view with other like-mnded online friends. S. M.
