Guest guest
Please try a cup of warm milk with half a teaspoon of turmeric powder before going to sleep. Also when ever you eat anything or even some snack, always chew a small piece of cucumber, particularly the pale colour small size cucumbers that we get in Mumbai or Pune. If not possible, then try any good variety of cucumber. That disinfects the mouth and helps keep the throat clean and clear. I hope one of these two things or even both should work for you as they do for me even at 75 years of age But please don't combine too many cures simultaneously. Wishing you speedy recovery S. M. Guest guest
Dear Jay, Please stop taking ginger. You can continue Sitipaladi or else take Talisadi Churnam with abhrak bhasma with honey thrice a day. Please take some plain water steam as well. Hopefully you should be getting better in 2-3 doses itself. Guest guest
Jay, First and foremost, it is necessary to know that yellow / green sputum indicated to some infection in the breathing system. It could be in the sinus, back of nose or wind-pipe, may be all the three sites may be involved. Dry cough may also point towards some allergic element in your problem. Please do not experiment with various herbs unless you know the focus of your cough. Get X-ray of chest and complete blood count which will give the status of white blood cells indicative of infection and / or allergy. Present your reports and you will get better advice and guidance from group collegues. Till the time use clove powder and powdered sugar in equal proportions - one teaspoon of mixture three to four times a day, drink hot water. Avoid all aerated cold drinks, daily head-bath and if possible air-conditioned cool environs. If you happen to smoke cigarettes, stop smoking. Avoid all sorts of deo sprays, room freshners and insecticide sprays.
