Guest guest
chronic candidiasis is due to disturbed intestinal and vaginal flora. The source of these infection is physical/mental stress, use of wide-spectrum anti-biotics, use of birth control pills, infection during menstryual cycle, deodorants and most likely diebetes or insulin resistance. Probiotics is the best approach for treatment, not anti-biotics. one gets so many probiotics culture tablets in chemsist shop/health food stores, names generally ending in " lac " . and health food stores. Crush them to powder add few drops of distilled water and apply locally. Other approach is take a tampoon, dip in yogurt and insert twice a day, streching the procedure to 2 extra days after itch ends. In addition, author provides " make your own " probiotics: To implant friendly lactobacteria and heal damaged mucus membranes, you need to drink about 1 and 1/2 cup daily of cultured cabbage juice. Here is how to make it. Fill blender with chopped green cabbage and add distilled water until about 2/3 full. (Do not use well water or tap water). Beat at high speed in the blender for one minute. Pour mixture into bowl and repeat with two more batches. Cover with Seran wrap or similar material and let stand at room temperature. After 3 days, the cabbage juice solution is ready to use. Strain the mixture to separate the liquid from the pulp. Place the cultured cabbage juice in refrigerator. Drink 1/2 cup of this solution diluted with an equal part of water 2 or 3 times each day. When your supply gets low, make second batch just like the first one, except, add 1/2 cup of the juice from the first batch to the second batch. Your second batch will be ready just 24 hours. This process may be repeated indefinitely. Each serving contains several billion friendly lactobacteria. The lactic acid in the culture cabbage juice will purify the G.I. tract and kill most strains of fungi parasites and other pathogens. You should drink this mixture until your stools float in the toilet bowl and are odor free. When that happens, you may lower your dosage of cultured cabbage juice to one serving each day as maintenance dosage. You may eat one cup of raw cabbage as a substitute for 1/2 cup of cultured cabbage juice. Excerpted from " Hydrogen Peroxide Therapy " By Conrad Lebeau. 11th Edition Authors comments: This lactobasillus rich liquid can be applied internally with a tampoon or cotton soaked and covered with a thin cloth. YOu may use water boiled to remain 50% instead of distilled water and still obtain same culture. Author dislikes distilled water since it is sold in HDPE bottles or Terrapthalet cans. It is also possible to develop the culture using yogurt or curd/buttermilk, if you can get raw milk of good quality. Since getting such a milk is impossible in western countries, cabbage juice is better. an ayurvedic formulation, Chandraprabha Vati or Shilajatvadi Vati, 2 tablets slightly chew and swallow three times a day is also seen to cure the itch problems. If there is a burning sensation in urine, take Chandanasav 15-20 ml with equal water twice a day. But the fastest relief comes from probiotics, both topical application and ingestion. ayurveda , maymecall <no_reply wrote: > > I was wondering if someone might be so kind as to post information on > what to do for chronic candida problems/yeast infections. Guest guest
I have found that home made yogurt does just fine for maintaining bacterial culture or flora in the intestines. Fermented cabbage or raw cabbage could cause a lot of gas and bloating. and would not seem too suitable for vata people. For vaginal yeast infection I have used a mixture of licorice root and bayberry bark, in decoction one glass a day for three days seems to do the trick. I use this remedy rather than any of the common over the counter remedies and have found it works very well - tastes bad though. I have also found that applying a little tea tree oil mixed in sesame helpful. It is a bit harder to treat cases caused by pregnancy. The bayberry would be good for cases in diabetes as well because it is so astringent. ____ chronic candidiasis is due to disturbed intestinal and vaginal flora. ...............
