Guest guest
Hello, I have a 2 part question. My wife (53 yrs old) is on syntroid for a thyroid condition. not sure if its too active or inactive. Is there anything that she could take to help with her situation? Next, I hear people talking about colon hydrotherapy and colon cleaning. I take triphala daily. I want to fast and do a general " house cleaning " for spring. I also hear that people can carry pounds of fecal matter inside. Is this true? I want to know if it is worthwhile to have a colon cleaning? Thank you, Rick
Guest guest
hi if u want to fast if will be usefull to clean the intestines before, or all the toxins from there will be absorbed in your limph. it would be grate to do shankprakshalana and basti kriya before. if u don't know them, do usual occidental cleaning of colon they do for constipated people. maybe u will find somewhere more details about those methods, it seams i'm not able to writte more this hour. good luck grman53 <grman53 I take triphala daily. Guest guest
Dear Rick, A healthy colon is essential to good health, which makes colon cleansing a must. Lack of fiber in our diet, impairs our digestion process. If digestive system does not work properly problems such as constipation, lack of enzymes, problems for stomach and finally result in dysfunction of your colon. Without proper digestion your body is deprived of nutrients. Symptoms of indigestion or digestion problem are gas, heartburn, bloating and many more. Colon cleansing and a healthy digestive system is essential to good health. Numerous studies show the importance of fiber to reverse and prevent many degenerative disease conditions including obesity, hypercholesterolemia, cardiovascular disease, Parkinson’s disease, Thyroid dysregulation and certain cancers. What you need is colon cleansing + Detoxification + proper flow of nutrition. Triphala have been historically and effectively utilized for colon cleansing. Acidophilus and other friendly bacterial cultures are also key components to maintain colon health and promote homeostasis. You can consider Omniflow for this purpose. As the roots of disease take hold in the body, the hypothalamus, pituitary and adrenal (HPA Axis) becomes imbalanced and the body begins to lose the capacity for self-defense and self-repair. Thyroid, pineal, pancreas, ovarian and testicular problems will develop manifesting excessive and deficient cycling of hormones. The spectrum of symptoms that result from endocrine dysregulation is vast. For instance, the acting of glands in synergistic manner in regulating reproductive systema and body metabolism has been discussed in old messages 5786, 9051. In general, if you have hormonal problems, it is a mistake to assume that the primary problem is with the gland itself. For example, thyroid problems are common, but it is wrong to assume that it is a primary thyroid disease, as this is rarely the case. When the deeper (upstream) imbalances have been corrected, our hormonal system can return to balance. While Thyroid hormones were in reference ranges according to modern science tests, author frequiently found its accupressure points sore. Perhaps sympathetic response to oxidative stress? Ignoring the roots of disease and taking hormones is the wrong approach. Balancing endocrine dysregulation by pulling the deeper roots of disease, is the correct approach. Hyperstimulation of ovaries in IVF causes thyroid also to dysfunction (Message 7217). You may use breathing techniques and color therapy to correct thyroid function, as discusse din Message 6987. Guest guest
I have found this to be so true. Stress being the source of endocrine problems. They seem to come along with a whole package of self distructive thought patterns. I feel that if the way of thinking can be changed there can be change in teh health of this system. For the thyroid, massage seems to help a lot. Color therapy with gems or light of different color also seems helpful. Marma therapy is also useful. Coloring mandalas or yantras or sacred images also seems to help. The hormones and immune system are so closely linked with our emotions and thought patterns and that is why immune disorders and endocrine imbalances are so difficult to treat, because it is so difficult to create new ways of thinking and release self destructive habits. Focus on divine and taking up activities that bring peace and joy seem to be the best ways of handling such things. _____________ In general, if you have hormonal problems, it is a mistake to assume that the primary problem is with the gland itself........... Guest guest
Shoulderstand and plough are 2 poses that are excellent for the thyroid. Nobody can guarantee the effectiveness on a certain individual but these 2 poses are great for a myriad of problems and also increased health.
