Guest guest
hi. for spine problems will help yoga warming up exercises for start and later the asanas involving the neck (most of those r for activating vishuddha chakra). i'm sorry i cannot give u more details, for warming -up exercises u need to see them done, but they r the most important. one of them is rotating the head first clok-wise about 20 times, than opposite direction same number. then an complicated exercice that i'm not able to cescribe. third is balancing head and neck left-right-left-right... asanas have different names in different books and schools, only the connection between the positiuon and effects r the same, so u should go to a yoga teacher to teach them to u, to be sure we talk about same one. a good one is what my school calls sarvangasana, the candle-posture, but this is not to start with, or it will harm u. bhujangasana (the cobra posture) it's good for begining. jalandhara bandha, sethu bandhasana(the bridge in tension), ardha matsyendrasana and also the archer posture, pranayama guiding prana to the painfull area during full retention, pranayama with subtile colours, like bright-white for pain, or cold colours when u need to reduce inflamatin and warm colours when u need to warm-up and activate that area; practise with violet and dark-blue (indigo? if there is this name in english) will harmonise vishuddha, practise with " i " vouel, ujjai and purna ujjai. sarvangasana is dinamising the para-thyroid glands, those involved in the methabolism of calcium, makes the calcium grow inside bones and not outside them, along the spine-ligaments. so it prevents the spine becoming stiff but fragile in same time. u can make ur choise from this list. i'm sorry i'm not such a good english speaker so maybe i translated wrong some terms, hope u understood what i ment. Riyaz Nazimudheen <riyazn 1. I have been suffering from Spondylosis pain for last one month. When I took the X-Ray there was two of the bones have very minute distraction we can say. This causes pain in the neck/rightside back and right hand along. It was reduced by some allopathic medicine - like relaxone/Lyric and pain relifs. But the pain is still there especially in the night when lying on the bed. After three weeks I done the physcio therapy for three days but didn't get much relief. Ever though the doctor suggested for Cervic collar, but according to my work pressure in the office I cannot wear it. In the night time I wear it for 3-4 hours. Still the pain is remaining. Guest guest
I have used capsicum in sesame decoction oil to treat spondilitis successfully. For high blood pressure yoga and pranayama along with ginger and garlic paste in honey every morning before meals could be helpful along with herbs like arjun, hawthorn and yarrow. Guest guest
Dear Riyaz Nazimudheen Have a nice life. Your problems may be due to high blood pressure. It difficult to get our medicines in KSA but you should try any anti hypertensive medicine, you may feel better. Before taking the medicine you should reduce your salt intake, as you can do it easily. If you are anywhere else let me know to suggest you some Unani medicine.
