As pointed out by Dr. Bhate, it is that time of the year again when

all of us should take a detox program. We have just declared a 9 day

residential detox camp as per details below:

9 day Detoxification cum excursion camps

at

CampHarit

an Eco Organic Farm Camp & Retreat

What:

It is a residential detoxification program through use of herbal

medicines, Panchkarma, Yoga and Pranayam therapies. The therapies are

conducted under the guidance of qualified and experienced

practitioners and therapists. For massages, we use visually impaired

therapists who have highly developed sense of touch.

Participants also get to see organic herbs, learn about their usage,

enjoy participating in farm activities (optional), recreation, nature

walks, site seeing and cultural programs.

Where:

The camps are held at a 20 acre eco-organic herbal farm between a

perennial river and reserve forest, near Vikramgad, off NH 8

(Ahmedabad Highway), 75 KM from Dahisar octroi post and takes 2 hours

to reach. The farm houses over 150 medicinal plant varieties and has

the distinction of being certified `Organic' under Indian, US and EU

standards.

Camp Environment:

The atmosphere is pure, peaceful and meditative and devoid of

television, recorded music and newspapers. The air is rich with pure

and abundant oxygen, ozone and herbal fragrances and is devoid of

pollution.

Food & Water:

The food offered is simple and vegetarian devoid of alcohol, tobacco,

chemicals, colas, ice-cream etc. The water is mineral ground water

devoid of any pathogens (tested). Bottled water is available if

desired.

Accomodation & facilities:

The accommodation is simple and functional. No luxuries or

airconditioning. Family rooms (upto 4 people) and dormitory rooms

(upto 10 people) are available. Tents can be pitched for the

adventurous. The camp has a large activity hall, a country style

dining hall, sit outs under trees, nursery, vermicompost project,

cowshed, and many herb plots.

How to Reach:

One can reach CampHarit directly or board the CampHarit vehicle which

leaves the AayurMed Health Spa in Mumbai and returns there after the

camp. The Mumbai Spa is located in Raheja Complex, near Times of

India Press on WE Highway at Malad.

Participation:

A camp must have a minimum of 5 participants and can accommodate a

maximum of 15.
