Guest guest
Hi Everyone. I am new to this group and a battle against a moderate to severe case of rosacea. I really have no knowledge about naturopathic healing. I have found all your info. and experiences facinating and want to learn more. I plan on getting a few of the suggested books. I was just wondering if some of you could share the amount of success you have with your battles to overcome rosacea. This route really seems to make sense to me and is so much healthier than traditional methods but I am nervous about doing anything that could worsen my disease, it has recently become quite dibilitating for me because of the severe ocular and facial pain I am experiencing. Thanks, Bonnie
Guest guest
Hi Bonnie, Both cleanses talked about in this group have helped me *a lot*. The Ayurvedic Cleanse (I did two) really moved out " fire " and took the heat out of my face. While I was doing them (towards the end) I was really pale (my natural skin is very pale). The fire would come back a bit, but not at all like before. The liver flush really knocked out the rosacea and the acne. Now I only have to deal with left over " pimple burn " (marks left after the pimple is gone. Some clear up right away, some leave marks. Maybe these are older; or skin is different in these areas: generally jaw and outer cheek area). I didn't have ocular involvement now, but as a child and a teen, even in my 20s I had the red, gritty eye symptoms (and got the usual grief for it). I had moderate/severe rosacea, too. I don't remember when I started the program -- maybe January? But, it's only March and I look 100% better. What I don't get is why no one had told me about liver flushing before. I sought alternative help. I hope you have success with this program. No reason you shouldn't! PC
Guest guest
Thanks so much PC. I am feeling really optimistic right now. Before this I thought I might only progress in the wrong direction. I was thinking of getting The Amazing Liver Cleanse by Moritz and then a book on Ayurvedic nutrition - any recommendations? Does Moritz's book tell me everything I need to know for cleansing? I am currently using traditional methods: metrogel and tetracycline. I am wondering if I should be off those meds when doing the cleansing, especially the tetra since I heard that it is hard on the liver. To a stranger my nose would look normal but I know I have some swelling, do you know if the cleansing helps with that too? Bonnie
Guest guest
Welcome Bonnie You are the first one here to have severe ocular rosacea with facial pain. I empathize with your situation. I do not have direct experience with this. I would suggest before doing the liver cleanse, see a accupuncturist to reduce the pain and bring down the internal heat. Once you have done this, then I would first do the ayurvedic cleanse, wait two weeks, then do the liver cleanse second. Seeing the accupunturist first I feel is a more cautious approach with your situation. In terms of success, we are still a fairly new group and many here are still in the healing process. Some positive reports are listed below. Cesar http://health./message/83 Griffith http://health./message/99 Pink Cat http://health./message/118 Please keep us posted of your healing journey. Always feel free to ask any questions. We are a supportive group.
