Guest guest
I have been reading this list with interest and now hope. I have rosacea, but not very badly (I don't think.) I'm happy to learn that it may be cured by proper diet. I have been using metro gel (cream) for many years without much impact. I would like to be directed to the source of information on liver cleansing and diet... will I find it in an archive somewhere? Thanks very much CT
Guest guest
Welcome CT I am glad this group has given you hope. You are fortunate your case is mild which means it should not take too long to see results from cleansing, diet, and exercise. You can find the information regarding this process in the files section here http://health./files Best regards OneLove Original Message I have been reading this list with interest and now hope. Guest guest
Thank you for your reply, I have another question, regarding oil.... on reading one of Deepak Chopra's books, I tried the self-massage. He recommended that sesame oil be used. I spoke to an Ayervedic doctor here and he told me that for me, I should use coconut oil. Welcome CT I am glad this group has given you hope. Guest guest
Sorry, my first reply was sent off before I was finished. I wanted to ask, what is the difference between using sesame oil, coconut oil or sunflower oil? Is sesame best? And second question has to do with the mess! I found that when I did the self-massage, it was a wonderfully relaxing and refreshing experience, but the mess afterwards! Cleaning the oil residue off the bathtub is no easy job... any cleaning tips? How do you know how much oil to use? Thanks. CT Welcome CT I am glad this group has given you hope. Guest guest
Hi CT Since rosacea (a heat imbalance) is being treated, sunflower oil is recommended. Why sunflower oil? Because ayurvedic medicine categorizes it as cooling in nature and suitable for any body type. Coconut oil will work too. When doing the ayurvedic cleanse for general health maintenance, the prescription is sesame oil (warming) for the air (vata) body type, coconut oil (cooling) for the fire (pitta) body type, and corn oil (warming) for the water (kapha) body type. Eight ounces of oil is the general prescription. You can get by with less if you have a thin build. I found a spray cleanser made from citrus at the health food store to work best for clean up.
