Dear One Love,

Regarding the Ayurvedic Cleanse:

The instructions for the Sunflower oil rub calls for " 8 ounces of

warm sunflower oil to your body from head to toe, rubbing it in

well... "

Well, I read what it says -- but I have a lot of hair covering the

top of my head and think I might run into some trouble if I have to

put oil on it. Not to mention for five days straight.

Also, I assume this means oil on one's face, too, where many of us

are reluctant to put oil.

Finally, the sole of the feet sounds like not a good venture for

oil, either.

Please advise whether we are to take the instructions absolutely

literally.

Thank you.

Hi PC

If you want to skip massaging sunflower oil on the top of your head plus face

and soles you can. However, it is traditional to cover these areas. The

purpose of the oil is to help dislodge toxins in the tissues. Shampoo will

remove the oil from your hair. You should be in a sitting position if you apply

oil to the soles.
