Guest guest
Dear Onelove Having had Rosacea for a number of years without realising what it was, I have for two years been taking antibiotics intermittently plus topical metronidazole - a standard GP treatment which does not seem to be having any effect. I am also taking acidophilus to combat the destruction of digestive flora. I am concerned that the rosacea is progressing to rhinophyma and will not be treatable by non-surgical methods, so I am interested in trying the liver cleanse and/or purgation, but I need to know if taking antibiotics concurrently will render it a pointless exercise. Also, could you please summarise the frequency of the liver cleanse, how many times it needs to be done and whether it is affected by eating within a reasonable amount of time (I am trying to think of the best time of day to do the cleanse). Could you please also confirm whether the apple juice, olive oil, lemon juice and epsom salts should be mixed and taken together, and the exact quantities required of each. I am sorry to ask so many questions but I need to be certain of the correct procedure. Thanks in advance. Guest guest
Welcome Steve From the viewpoint of eastern medicine, antibiotics do not address the underlying cause of rosacea which is toxic heat. I would highly suggest discountinuing the use of antibiotics and proceed with internal cleansing, diet modification, and walking daily to circulate energy. The liver cleanse requires at least a 2 week gap between each cleanse. Andreas Moritz who designed the cleanse found this time period necessary for stones to move from the back to the front of the liver for removal. On average it has been found to take about 6 cleanses before stones are no longer passed and lasting results are noticed. In terms of eating, it is suggested to follow a anti pitta (fire) diet during the healing process and then eating a diet according to your body type after healing. I had originally planned to post a outline of the liver cleanse, but Andreas Moritz author of The Amazing Liver Cleanse book requested that I not do that. He found that when people only read a outline, they tend not to follow the instructions precisely or take it seriously. He also said this was not for monetary reasons and the disclaimer in the book protects him legally. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.
