Manliness is the quality of soul which frankly accepts all conditions in human life and makes it a point of honour not to be dismayed or wearied by them, it is more than courage. We speak of manly gentleness or tenderness such as firmness, bravery, undaunted spirit, dignified nature, nobility and stateliness. So womanliness = all that is unacceptable in "human-ness"? Why is "Dr." Zala posting such offensive messages on a health column? Offending 50% of humanity is not healthy!"Dr.Y. This advice applies to human being ie. to man as well as to woman. One should have the courage to discharge one's duties and cannot shirk off duties on flimsy ground..However woman has the beautiful qualities such as being persuasive and not aggressive and also being coy and shy yet bold and firm. This can probably be called womanishness if the dictionary permits.
