Guest guest
Why should well-informed Netizens interested in Alt Health waste their precious time on Tajmahal, a tomb? Since you have posted the same, here is the other side - Why I shall NOT vote for the Tajmahal : 1.. Tajmahal is NOT a love monument as is made out, but a Tejomahal - a HIndu temple that was donated by Raja Man Singh of Jaipur to his sister, wife of King Akbar and grandmother of Shah Jahan. 2.. The story goes that hands of the chief architect were cut off by Shahajan on completion of the monument so that others will not come to know of the truth. 3.. Such symbol of barbarity and usurpation, not maintained in its prestine beauty does NOT merit to be included in the seven wonders of the world. 4.. There are far better wonders than Tajmahal, I have seen six out of 21 shortlisted. 5.. Let the best monument win without manipulation on narrow patriotic fervour. Infact, www.new7wonders.com must NOT allow the same nationality people to vote for their landmark. Other visitors must say after visiting the short listed wonders and after getting full facts. Like for example, I would unhesitatingly vote for the Great Wall of China, Petra (Jordan) and Kremlin (Russia), but NOT the Taj mahal for the reasons cited above. I won't vote on others since I have NOT seen them personally. Voting should be based on free and fair assessment NOT on jingoistic lines. Guest guest
I feel that the first three points can be looked at from other very valid angles surprisingly ignored so far by the protagonists of the theory that the Tajmahal was Tejomahal.1)If it was really Tejomahal then the descendants of Raja Man Singh and the other Rajput Royal families, connected with it, should have been the first to come out with all the evidences themselves and probably could have knocked at the courts to establish the truth. Neither they did it so far nor the protagonists of the "Tejomahal theory" have compelled them to do so.2)There is another story regarding the chopping off of the hands of the chief architect. It is said that the hands were cut off so that he would not be able to create another monument that could have rivalled Tajmahal.3)Tajmahal has not been maintained properly. During my first visit I was shocked to see some doors in very poor conditions. Nobody seems to have taken any action to do something about that.Further it hasbeen reported that there are some secret chambers in Tajmahal and these have been sealed by the Government authorities. I think the protagonists of the Tejomahal theory as well as the other admirers of Tajmahal should take the help of the judiciary to persuade the authorities to open these closed rooms, at least to let the people of India know what are the things stored there and why were these kept closed so far. This may also help us to ascertain if the Tajmahal was really a temple called Tejomahal."Dr. Leo Rebello" <leorebello wrote: Why should well-informed Netizens interested in Alt Health waste their precious time on Tajmahal, a tomb?
