Please take a moment to read and respond. Our rights and our freedom are really in danger. None of us want to loose our freedom to access the natural vitamins and minerals that help keep us healthy. The FDA and the drug companies are working very hard to eliminate the competition of natural health care. Right before I left the pharmaceutical industry we were told that, "If we can't beat them, we'll buy them...If we can't buy them, we'll put them out of business." I believe we should have the freedom to choose our health care, especially in light of the dangerous environment that allopathic healing currently represents to consumers!

HEALTH FREEDOM ALERT

Your Action is Urgently Needed

 

The US FDA is at it again. They have been notorious for decades for their biased attacks and uneven handling of natural, non-drug/surgery/radiation based health options. This time, though, they are playing for keeps.

 

 

The goal is simple: through a "Guidance" about the regulation of "CAM" (which they conveniently define as "Complementary and Alternative MEDICINE" the FDA hopes to serve the interests of Big Pharma by eliminating all CAM practices and products. ALL of them.

 

Here's how this deadly game is played:

 

 

1. By using the term "Medicine" rather than "Modality" for CAM practices, the FDA sets the stage so that anyone who is not a licensed physician is breaking the law by using these modalities since they are therefore 'practicing medicine without a license'.

 

 

2. By using the term "treatment" rather than "therapy", the FDA limits those who can perform these practices to licensed physicians and, again, anyone who is not a licensed physician is breaking the law by using these modalities since only licensed practitioners can treat. So people using these modalities are therefore 'practicing medicine without a license'.

 

 

3. By using the terms "Medicine" and "treatment" instead of "Modalities" and "therapy", all substances, including vitamins, minerals, herbs, co-factors, etc., automatically become untested drugs since they are being used to prevent, treat, mitigate or cure disease states. Such use can only legally take place with FDA approved drugs.

Yes, I just responded to this today and sent letters off to the president and officials. This is absolutely ridiculous! Criminalizing activities such as Reiki. Doctors don't have time to spend with patients now, while they are practicing quackery. And they are to be the enforcers of CAM therapies, You have got to be kidding. It seems as though any alternative therapy that has shown to be effective as bringing a person into wholeness (body, mind, spirit) and can actually cure the state of dis-ease is being targeted for outlaw. There is no profit in CURE! We are in dire times indeed! You know in my mind I equate this activity to a great spiritual battle in the most covert way possible.
