I think Al Gore's movie, " The Inconvenient Truth " totally debunks Geoff

Metcalf's theory that global warming is not real. Mr. Gore explores

scientific evidence that is hundreds of thousand years old.

What bothers me a lot about this argument on global warming is that the environment is in very dire straights. No one mentions Depleted Uranium poisoning which is circling the globe with such an impact that every human in the face of the planet is inhaling particles of DU daily. In the UK several months ago the levels were ''alarming''. Quite honestly, I am tired of the blame seeming to be on our deodorant, and our automobiles, like it is a population issue, albeit that contributes, when nothing is mentioned about the pollution made by the Military Industrial Complex and multinational industries who use the planet as their garbage dump for all the poison they have been creating and generously feeding us and the environment.

I haven't seen Gore's movie, however my senses of it is if he speaks only about emissions or has an undertone that it is a human issue and does not address the activities of the MIC I discern this to be propaganda lite for moving the mindset into acquiescence to their controlling our freedom of movement and aligns nicely with the corridor and other controls this beast system of glut, greed and control is about. The perception that it is a population issue also brings in a thread of mindset altering that genocide is fine to ''save the earth''. Reports I have heard is the globe can hold many more people than currently here. If we didn't abuse the resources and operated locally on issues instead of global corporations i.e. Monsanto who feel they have to control it all we probably wouldn't have the problem. When governments stopped encouraging people to grow their own food and offered chemically drenched food, easily packaged, we gave a piece of our sovereignty away, yielding to dependence rather than independence on ourselves and our local areas aka communities.

My opinion and view, of course.

Rose, an organic gardener... you have a craft/art that few have. What an honorable passion. I do not share gardening... I do share free thinking and open conversation.

Namaste,

Bethany
