This is a special message for Alt Health friends

New Year is Here, Live without Fear is my resolution for 2007.

Fear is the biggest stumbling block on the road to success. You have fear of the unknown, fear that Bombay will sink tomorrow, and Saddam Hussein's execution will start a new wave of worldwide suicide bombing. You have fear about your children's future, about your bank balance, fear that your spouse may be cheating on you in your absence. You have fear that police may arrest you on false charges, fear that you may meet with an accident and not reach home safe.

Businessmen who evade taxes have fear of income tax raid, or their shops or bungalows being burgled or your money will disappear because of Credit card fraud. Fear of heights, fear of closed spaces, fear of water, fear of snakes, fear of cockroaches or lizards, fear of rats... fear of rejection, fear of dying... Fear is the most dreaded four-letter word. As they portrayed very well in Darna Jaroori Hai, fear can kill.

Using this fear, police exploit you, judges frighten you with contempt, priests do roaring business in the name of religion, extortionists ask you for ransom; it is the fear of dying that keeps the white coat wallas (namely doctors) doing roaring business. Since you live in fear, you die daily. Get over your fear and live to be healthy hundred without ills, pills and doctor's bills. Remember, human body is made for hundred years of fault-free service. Also note that it is the human body that dies, not the soul. Once this realisation, that I am the Universe (Aham Brahmasmi), dawns on you, fear will disappear like with the Sunrise darkness disappears.

My another resolution is Live Life Kingsize -- Not by smoking Wills Cigarette, but by enjoying every moment of my life. Not by drinking and falling in the gutters expecting some college boys to take me home, but by not drinking acid. By helping those who are poor, illiterate, homeless, hungry, distraught, depressed, the lost child, those in jail.

My third resolution is I shall Love All -- regardless of caste, creed, gender, status, age etc. But do not get me wrong. My love is not weak. I won't compromise on issues. I shall keep fighting against corruption, casteism, communalism and criminalisation of our society with more vigour in 2007.

My fourth and final resolution is to work with a plan. This I call Personal Positioning System or PPS in short. Like with Global Positioning System, you can know where you are if you are lost, with PPS you can know how much ground you have covered on your road to success.

PPS allows us to take a side trip, but not to lose sight of the goal. PPS is like a map. Let us say I wish to go to Delhi and reach there by July 2007 to enter the Rashtrapati Bhavan and occupy the Chair of the President of India. Yes, that is my goal, and those who do not know, President Abdul Kalam's term gets over in July and I have already told him that I am going to occupy that chair, so he should keep it clean.

With PPS, I can go to Delhi on foot like Swami Vivekanand did telling people on the way to Arise, Awake and Act or like 83-year old Acharya Mahaprayaji urging people to live in peace. I can fly there in a borrowed jet like Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in flowing gown catering to the rich or through thin air like Satya Sai Baba, distributing vibhuti enslaving the followers instead of liberating them. I can cycle to Delhi, gaining street smartness and reducing the middle age paunch that I am developing with good food my wife cooks. But I shall certainly not use Ramrath to reach Delhi like Lal Krishna Advani. On the way to Delhi, I may get flat tire, I may be mugged by the highway robbers, lured by pretty women wanting lift or be indisposed due to food poisoning etc. PPS will keep me focussed on the goal and time and I shall reach there safely, fulfuling the prophesy that I was destined to lead India.
