Guest guest
Respected Friends, Here is a wish for you, an idea for happier you and India, one method to realize the dream idea, and a suggestion to you. Wish -------- I wish you a very happy Children day. May all children get love and opportunity to live a decent life. May all children grow into bright and happy world citizens. Idea ------- The idea is to integrate character building and mind mastering moral education with the usual literacy/technical education. This helps a student become a happy, peaceful, noble, and productivecitizen. If the future citizens and leaders of India are bright, India shall surely shine ! Bright students/youth => Bright future generation and future leaders=> Bright India In these times of increased competition and stress, mastering the mind is essential for happiness of both the individual and the nation. One method (of realizing the idea) -------------- There could be several ways of imparting moral education - story telling, teaching good habits, Pranayaam (Yoga), Meditation. One very effective method, which I have experienced myself is Vipassana/Anapana Meditation. Vipassana/Anapana Meditation is a simple, practical, non-sectarian and scientific method to achieve real peace of mind and to lead a happy, useful life. This path is essentially " come and see " and requires no blind faith. Also, the benefits are immediate (here and now), as one practices. This idea is explained in detail (with reference links to various introductory articles) in the following link. http://o3.indiatimes.com/Vipassana_Education_Integration Suggestion ----------------- I suggest all students to try Vipassana/Anapana Meditation. Children having 8+ years age can practice Anapana. Children having 15+ years age can practice Vipassana. Vipassana/Anapana meditation is beneficial to all children, students, and adults. Here are some links about Anapana and Vipassana. 1) Introduction to Vipassana Meditation - http://www.vri.dhamma.org/general/vipintro.html 2) The Art of Living: Vipassana Meditation - http://www.dhamma.org/art.htm 3) Frequently asked Questions (FAQ) and Answers on Vipassana - http://www.vri.dhamma.org/general/question.html 4)Anapana Meditation Courses for Children - http://www.vri.dhamma.org/anapana/index.html Thanks Vikas Nagpal >> " May all beings be happy, be peaceful, be liberated!
