Violet Flame Meditation(Courtesy : Stavavali Devi Dasi)1. Sit in a chair with your legs uncrossed (this allows the energy to flow out from you, and does not happen as freely when you sit cross- legged).2. Breathe deeply several times and relax.3. Be still of mind and body.4. Focus your attention inward on the center of your Being (in the area of your heart) feeling that still, calm, powerful energy.5. Visualize your body as being made of translucent glass with a blazing, golden Sun in the center of your chest.6. Expand that Light through every part of your body until your whole Being and consciousness is pure Light.7. Visualize that Light changing to Violet, gradually becoming deeper and more intense, until your whole body is made of amethyst Light, emanating outward, filling your aura, consciousness and world with the

scintillating Light of beautiful, Violet hues.8. Affirm, either aloud or silently, continuing to visualize the Violet Light: I Am the Violet Consuming Flame of God in Action, dissolving and consuming all imperfection from my mind, body and world forever. I call for this Violet Consuming Flame to be fully self-sustained.9. Visualize the Violet Consuming Flame surrounding any person, place, condition or thing requiring purification, healing or greater perfection and affirm: I AM the Presence of GOD blazing the Violet Consuming Flame up, in, around and through _____________, dissolving and consuming all imperfection forever. This activity of the Violet Consuming Flame is fully self-sustained as needed.10. Feel forgiveness pouring forth from your Heart to all creation, and send a conscious thought and feeling of gratitude to the God Source of your Being that is within and above you always. 1996.
