Guest guest
Dear Friends, In Zee TV of last month, a live show of one boy (named PRINCE) aired. He fell by accident into 60 feet deep 1 foot diameter shaft of a bore well and lived in there for 50 hours, and later rescued by the Indian army. He, by no means, could come out of that deep pit; and life in pit could not exceed few hours of breath. But efforts of his mother, father, and army personnel succeeded and the boy finally got out of the pit hanging with a thread of faith and tolerance to his confinement. This new Mahabharata of the Kurushetra is no less educative. Our condition is not at all different than the Prince. We just have a counted number of breaths and after that, the oxygen supply will stop. In a dark universe, the sun is provided to give us a source of light. Food is similarly provided by the earth; till the period we can survive in it by whatever oxygen lay inside it. Time and space is so thick wall around us that prohibit our intellect to see it across and we can never know what will happen to us next. Choices are an illusion, because practically there is only one choice that we could make and cannot reverse or go back into the time and space for a correction. See, how Sri Krishna is the rescuer and we are Princes. At last, we all will end up dying by suffocation of whatever is available intellectual or physical freedom. Physical universe might look very big, but is shrinking every day and none will have an amount of oxygen to survive indefinitely. By un-broken biblical cord of faith holding us by the knowledge of Sri Krishna, one can try his best and climb up across the narrow hole, and finally gets out of it, and learns it hard to never come back. Alternatively, if we are incapable of understanding Him, and His instruction, we should at least stay calm and pray to Him. And he will be kind to come Himself into the pit and take us out. The trouble is that the attraction of the pit holds us back although we all know eminence of the death. In fact, we are scared of others inside of the pit and try to be a King in the pit, and also busy in making large houses and palaces in the pit of universe while a hermit can equally serve the purpose. In other words, our minds when gets attracted to the amenities of the pit that is provided for sake of our survival, (till His rescue efforts become successful,) we are adding to difficulties for Sri Krishna, our rescuer and for ourselves. Sri Krishna very kindly says that my bhakt should cut off all ties with the world and concentrate only and only on His words. By understanding it and acting towards it, we (the Prince) can be rescued. He is already a provider and none will go hungry or get desperate if we listen carefully and remain devoted to Him. Instead, by anxiety and intellectual enterprises, our limited freedom will be lost more quickly.
