Guest guest
Entire ayurveda is born out of milk and buttermilk(Chhas). When Lord Krishan was born, Guru Sandipani went to bless him, the gift he recived from Nanda, father of Krishna, was 5000 cows! India was richest in world just 300 years back because of cows! dairy and agriculture only made present richest country in world (denmark) to the top. Ayurveda used probiotics freely. See e.g. ayurveda/message/6770 ayurveda/message/6784 Science now discovers that buttermilk can cure liver cancer too! Buttermilk is queen of probiotics. how to prepare as ayurvedic medicine is described in above messages. An entire book is written by a vaidya: " Takra Kalpa " nearly 50 pages describing its uses. And 10 year old Grahani disease can not be cured without buttermilk: ayurveda/message/6964 ayurveda/message/6924 ayurveda/message/6770 Curd (Dahi)is useful to take many medicines for stomach, liver, pancreas, colon. Many piles (hemorrhoid) medicines are given in curd. Ayurveda utilizes probiotics as anupana to make medicines easily broken up into simple absorbable products. Author uses probiotics in a liver detox procedure, where in addition to Lactobacillus Acidophyllus, four more important specis of friendly bacterias are added. He uses his own culture carefully preserved in fridge. One important consideration while using curd, buttermilk as probiotics, see that they are not sour. Water added for making buttermilk should not have chlorine/fluoride. well water, spring water, distilled water and finally earthen pot water is also OK. Copper water has already some microbes in water killed, so that too OK. Lassi as probiotics OK. better without sugar. Cheese paneer process destroys some friendly bacteria as heating is done after setting. Budwig protocol uses cottage cheese with flaxseeds to cure cancer. Much more info is available in messages cited above. Ayurvedaonline is slowly accumulating so much global contribution from Vaidyas. Only time and devotion needed to seek answers to commonly asked questions. , Prabha Krishnan <prabha40249 wrote: > > What are considered probiotics in Ayurveda?
