Namaste,Recently I read a report that nano-gold is very useful in cancer and now this news about nano detox. I was wondering if anybody had undertaken to find out whether nano particles are formed during the Ayurvedic process of making Bhasma. Nano means of millimicron size and to compare we know that hair is a few microns thick and a nano particle would be about thousand times smaller in size than that. There will be a size distribution in the powder of Bhasma and statistically there is always a probability that some nano-particles will form. A scientific analysis of the size distribution of some such Bhasmas would really help to show that Ayurvedic Bhasmas may remove any metal from the body even if metals are used in Ayurvedic medicines. Question is which create/accept the damage and then struggle to rectify it? I am working on this issue, with Pulse Polio programme as example looking to do a Public Interest Litigation, demanding the Right to Informed Consent.
