Guest guest
Namaste,Yes. There can be several reasons for that.Prarabdha karma is one. Did not Lord Krishna choose himself to be pierced by the arrow of the hunter because he killed Bali in an unfair way in his earlier incarnation though Bali deserved that punishment for usurping the rights of Sugreeva? Bali even deprived Sugreeva in having his wife back. Secondly the saints do not have the willingness to live once their life's mission is achieved. They do not have the jest for life that the ordinary people have.Thirdly in the Vastu Shastra it is said that one should not have his house very near a temple as there is a lot of negativities in and around the temple where people leave their negativities to get themselves cured. People go to the temple to pray to the deity and after staying there for sometime they leave. Of course, one's home temple does not come in this category but Vastu shastra prescribes the maximum size of the idol etc. for the home temple. The saints like Ramakrishna who spend lot of time in the temple and are of very compassionate nature may wilfully take other's deseases.Fourthly prayer and medicine (ie. mantraguna and dravyaguna) do help. But the saints may not pray for their own long life.Fifthly it is known that sometimes meditation may create problems and it seems Japa flower (Hibiscus Rosa) is a remedy for that. Our Ayurvedic doctor friends may be able to throw more light on that. There are some Homeopathic medicines also for these cases.SKBJagannath Chatterjee <jagchat01 wrote: Sadar Pranam, . Therefore to think that Sadhana causes illness does not seem right. Sadhana gives great strength and vitality to body and mind. It is now accepted by modern science also that mind and body are closely interrelated.
