Guest guest
Dear Dr. Alam I have said at all places that only a true Hindu is a Muslim and only true Muslim is Hindu. Hindu or Muslim is different names of natural wisdom. Natural wisdom is not relative, not comparative and stands true in all time and places. It never changes and cannot be amended. Prayer is a repetitive way to not forget how our separate existences are a part of the one natural wisdom. By this continuous awareness, people loose their ideas of ‘ownership’/ ‘you and me’ accountancy or individuals’ ego states and become free from fear of one another. When fear/ deprivation is lost, our desires are fulfilled without even eating, and minds get a new high. In one village there were several people who lived by farming, and did not count things, and this was a source of pleasure. The used to keep their harvest in the open and did not learn mathematics. One tailor came in the village and he measured bodies of people in inches and gave each one of them a slip of this measurement. Another tailor came to settle in village and he did not know inch but used centimeters that he brought with him. Over a period of time, half of the people believed that inch is better than centimeter, and other half opposed the idea. They also fought and many died. Hindu and Muslim divide is a tailor problem and not a problem of natural wisdom. Natural wisdom (irrespective of what are called) has answers to all problems, it is opposition to laws. Laws are not natural wisdom and it needs expansive infra-structure of government and military. One day people will abandon the laws and reinvent one natural wisdom. For example, Yoga is getting popular. It is contribution of Sri Krishna, Shiva, Patanjali, Vasishta, Buddha; model of righteous humanity is contribution of Sri Ram. Zakat is substitute of taxation, Procedures of doing the paryers and Islamic financial system is perfect way of humanty management. Dear Jagannath jee, The scriptures in Sanskrit have the monotheistic content as messengers were sent all over the world..I am vey pleased with your response..We need to multiply adoption of prayer 5 times a day..I had a conversation with Mahamandeleshwar Swami Akhilesh jee who cited the reference for prayer 5 times a day in a text called shiv sankalp taru.. I will appreciate if all the distinguished members have a look at the conceptual organisation at http://muhammad_mukhtar_alam.tigblog.org I have argued for adoption of monotheism for personal integrity, social unity and global unity.. With much appreciation Dr.Muhammad Mukhtar Alam jagchat01 <jagchat01 wrote: Dear Dr Alam, Today's population is hard pressed for time. Everyone is running for the sake of money. People do not get time to pray even one time a day and are forced to do it once a week or month, such is the situation. The Hindu scriptures advise prayers in the early morning, after a bath, in the afternoon, evening, and again before going to bed. For the spiritual seekers, the whole night is advised for prayers as nature is quiet and receptive at that time. Sleeping in the night is prohibited for the earnest seeker as it robs him of valuable time. Sri Ramakrishna said, " Three types of people stay awake at night, rogi, bhogi and yogi " , i.e. a person afflicted from disease, the pleasure seeker and the spiritual aspirant. For those following the path of tantra, meditating in the middle of the night is a must. Today we are so burdened by the world that we have entirely forgotten the value and need for prayer. Swami Vivekananda was very happy that our Muslim brothers stick to their prayer routines very strictly. He praised their actions as they left whatever at hand at turned to God at appropriate moments. He wanted all people to do likewise. People say religion divides but I never feel so. Having read a little about a variety of religions I find the common thread to be intense love and yearning for God, purity in thought and actions, desire to serve other beings, and spreading God's wisdom. Love & Regards, Jagannath. , Muhammad Mukhtar Alam wrote: > > Dear Arvind .. > > Imagine the ecological wellebing with 1 billion Indians adotping prayer 5 times a day
