In factWesterners are travelling to India to sit and learn at the feet ofour ayurveds. The National Geographic is serialising the achievementsof ayurveda.And India has recently been declared as the Mecca for those who wishto learn and practice homeopathy.It is a sad reflection of our times that the sciences of ourcivillisation are criticised by the descendants of those who inventedthem, even as archaeological findings and historians are coming tothe conclusion that Indian sciences followed all the tenets thatmodern science claims to have formulated.One day the West will adopt our

knowledge and patent it just as theyare trying to patent our neem, turmeric and basmati rice.
