Chemicals secretedwithin the brain don't leak out into the rest of the body and producesome effect. The hypothalamus of the brain does control release ofvarious hormones from the pituitary gland, but these hormones have beenwell studied and they have nothing to do with the IgE-mediated mechanismof mast cell hyperactivity in the airways. ---------------------------- Dear Dr ________, Having been a patient of asthma I can say that asthma is also a neurological disorder. The spasms are as important as blocked airways. The patient does not breath so hard voluntarily, he is forced to on account of the spasms. Yoga helps by raising the vital force of the body, that also helps the nervous system. The vital force then forces the toxins out through the skin and also strengthens the chest muscles to cope better. If at this stage the patient is treated ayurvedically or homeopathically then the patient can get totally cured. Asthma alternates with eczema. When the eczema resurfaces, that is the best time to treat the asthma patient. Ayurveda and homeopathy treats the eczema through internal means, sometimes causing it to aggravate, and after some time both the eczema and the asthma vanish. Ayurveda helps by treating the underlying vata and kapha disorder, homeopathy by treating the underlying psoric or sycotic miasm as the case may be. Both are beyond your knowledge. This is from a patients perspective. You will not agree with it and make fun of it as the patients and their opinion mean nothing to you. Regards, Jagannath.
