He was extremely laid back until he hadhis DTAP shot at 11 months. I have always asked for the thimerisol freevaccines for both of my kids, but he all of a sudden developed thisterrible temper and stopped babbling. He did coninue to say mama, buthe can't say any other words very well. Lately, he has started coveringhis ears and I am scared to death that he has it too. Could I have beengetting vaccines with mercury in them all along? Hard to say how effective it is and theallowed amount left is still WAY over EPA 'safe' levels in water supplies.There are other things that contribute to kids becoming ASD as well. Vaccinesartificially stimulate the immune system in a way we will never know how itreally affects our kids. In kids who are predisposed any insult on the immunesystem can throw them into autism.There are other sources of mercury as well in the environment like coalburning plants. If your son's prevaccine body burden was already high it won'ttake as much to push them over into autism.Just some of my thoughts. For now I would treat him as if he did have ASD. Have you tested hishair yet? There may be problems from that along with the vaccine.The newer vaccines have aluminum in them. My son was very high inthis and had lead. The combo is not good and could make problems.Trust your gut. I know that my son changed a lot after his 4 monthvaccination. His sleeping/eating, temperament etc.You can chelate a 21 month old too if he should show high metals.We just posted about article on her a week or two ago, where anindependent parent group purchases some children's thimerosal freevaccines and sent them to DDI to check for mercury. And they foundmercury in them, some higher than the original vaccine with mercury.So it is a possibility that those vaccines are not entirely mercuryfree.
