Dear Chatterji, Thank you for your mail which was heart-warming. The lecture you referred to was given a few years ago. Since then my study of Caraka Samhita was published by Orient Longman as The Legacy of Caraka in 2003 and went through three reprints. A companion volume The Legacy of Susruta will be published soon and may be released during the Nov Congress of Ayurveda in Pune. An article of mine called ' Towards Ayurvedic Biology ' will also be released by the Indian Academy of Sciences in November. I shall send you a copy in due course.
