Guest guest
Dear all, Thanks for the photos of medicinal plants. Can we have a sharing system in the cities, where using whatever little spaces they have, members can grow, use, and share medicinal plants? We city dwellers can help revive traditional health practices in a small way. Also, we who practise energy medicine of various kinds, know that in Ayurveda "chikitsa" forms a small part of the whole. Hence rather than bottled stuff, we would appreciate at least small quanties of the real, with-prana herbs and take these along with practices of yama-niyama, asana, pranayama, etc. What do you think? Also I want to share an experience with haldi powder. In India, worm infestation is endemic, not just with children. This reults in swollen abdomens, chronic fatigue, allergies, etc. I now take upto 1 teaspoon of haldi powder (organic, freshly ground) per day, and it has made a difference to my stomach and scalp. Apart from herb mixtures specially made for the purpose, haldi is a gradual way of cleaning the gut. This dose must be in addition to what is used in cooking. Thanks, Prabha Krishnan Here’s a new way to find what you're looking for - Answers
Guest guest
This is a very good suggestion Prabhaji and a very essential one. Even Swami Ramdev stresses this. As you have said, the herbs should be consumed very fresh to take advantage of the prana in them. Thank you for sharing the experience with haldi.
