GOOD IDEA JAGANNATH. GO AHEAD. COUNT ME IN.

You may also collect nominal fee to cover

your running expenses. And it should be

noted that anything given free is NOT appreciated

or taken seriously.

The patients who come to AM practitioners

may have spent thousands on useless tests and

lakhs on surgeries, but when it comes to paying

AM practitioners, they will haggle for the price and

will ask have you treated such a case? They

won't ask those questions to surgeons in big

hospitals and go and lie down on the slaughter

table willingly, coming out with tubes, urine bags

and other accessories hanging. De-educating them

that we do NOT treat a disease but a diseased person

is a mighty task.

I have some initial suggestions.

(a) There should be topic wise propagation, namely,

Naturopathy, Yoga, Ayurveda, Homeopathy

and so on. See my list of 40 Alternative

Medicines circulated with brief description recently.

(b) Other topics could be Vaccines, Fluoridation,

Iodisation of Salt, Aspartame, MSG, GM food, etc.

© Discussion on Allopathy a fake-science should

be totally ignored, except to show people how

foolish the medics are or how assinine their

theories and practices are.

(d) Disease wise discussion may be there

even though we do not treat diseases, inasmuch

as let us say Asthma -- Ayurvedic doctor will

describe how Asthma is caused and outline treatment,

Naturopath and Yoga expert will contribute to it further,

Homeopath will outline different remedies and so on.

For a sample chapter see my Nature Cure and Yoga

Therapy book - Chapter Common Diseases and see

pages 59 and 60 for Asthma, 62 for Diabetes and pages

67, 68 for Obesity, among others.

(e) There will be questions and answers of general nature

and

(f) personal consultations according to choice of members.

The list of experts on this net should be

prepared alphabetically and circulated along with

their details once a month. In that case, patients can

get in touch with them directly.

(g) There should be periodic surveys and reviews.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, TO KEEP

THE MISCHIEF MAKERS, BOGUS MEMBERS,

QUACKS OF MODERN MEDICINE AWAY,

THERE SHOULD BE PROPER SCREENING.

EVERY MEMBER JOINING IN SHOULD INTRODUCE

HIMSELF OR HERSELF BRIEFLY AND

PLEDGE THAT S/HE IS NOT A MOLE.

(h) And last but not the least, there should be only

one email a day -- in digest form instead of sending

10 of 15 messages a day. Digest style is easy to

refer, store, read.

[HealthyIndia] Important Notice: May we offer suggestions for healthqueries?

Dear Group,

In this group we have mainly concentrated on health issues in general. Some members wish to broaden the scope of the group by offering remedies for health problems of individual members.

For this we need constant monitoring by the many doctors in the group. We can have a questionnaire in the files section for the concerned member to fill up while seeking help. The form will also have a section where the mode of treatment preferred can be mentioned. Doctors of other modalities too can chip in with their suggestions.

At present the group has more professionals than lay persons. We need to expand. I would request every member to promote this group so that we can have more number of people who wish to benefit from holistic healing. Doctors can also advertise their own clinics so that the patients may get better individual attention.

The need for this change is not to offer permanent benefit as it takes time and follow up but we can help in acute conditions and also give necessary directions to the patient. The general aim is to let the layman know that holistic healing is very practical and not just wishful thinking.

I require feedback from the members regarding this.

Regards, Jagannath. __
