Cc: Dr. Leo Rebello Tuesday, June 20, 2006 1:37 AM HRT side effects Dear Maggie, I read your email to Dr. Leo Rebello. As a homeopath, I give my patients FOLLICULINUM (which is oestrogen in potency) and there is also a combined oestrogen/progesterone homeopathic medicine. This helps ALOT to clear the side effects of HRT. There are plenty of other menopausal homeopathic medicines which build back women's strength - Sepia, Lachesis, to name a couple. Please don't take any notice of that awful Lancet fraudulent study which was designed to stop people going to

homeopathic practitioners. Anyway, I have very successfully treated lots of women who have suffered from taking the contraceptive Pill or HRT and brought them fully back to health. The notion of solving the problems of menopause, by consuming sex steroid hormones is wrong. The therapeutic or prophylactic effects of such androgens have not been established in menopausal women, the osteoporosis observed in spite of such therapy. However, the intake of androgens without close monitoring develops symptoms of vaginal bleedings, endometrial tumours and other conditions given in earlier paragraphs. Breast cancers too are linked to this.

Light and easily digestible diet, adequate open air and exercise, avoiding emotional situations and stimulants palliate the changes suffered during this period. While women with sedentary and luxurious habits face climacteric earlier, those with robust and physically active life face the menopause comparatively later.
