It was nice to hear about your convictions. We Indians believe that rituals and symbols exist to teach us how to go beyond rituals and symbols. These things help us concentrate. And then when we see and feel the truth they are no longer necessary. Yes, I too think of myself as a product of the Universe rather than belonging to any country or sect.
