Energy Ball Exercise Begin by holding your hands several feet apart, bringing them slowly towards each other, until you feel a slight resistance between them. You might try a "pumping" motion to gather the energy together. It will feel as though a mass of energy has built up between your hands (which indeed it has!). Feel all around this energy with your hands, feeling the shape of the packet of energy you have gathered. Fashion it into a ball shape. For some this ball will begin by being cup-sized, for others it will be a big beach ball. For many folks, this takes practice to feel. For me, I have problems because every time I do this exercise my reiki turns on, and I can't tell if it's the energy ball I am feeling, or the reiki (maybe there is no difference!). Place your energy ball down in front of you. Pass your hand across the area, including both the space where the ball is,

and where it isn't. Do you feel a difference? Can you feel where the ball is? It may feel warmer, cooler, tingling, denser, etc. Try making the ball snowball-sized or smaller. Toss it at a pet or person, and see if they can feel it. Some animals will definitely react to your ball of energy. The people can tell you if they felt anything. Have them close their eyes and see if they feel when it hits them. Try tossing the ball up above your head. Can you feel when it hits you on the way back down? Close your eyes and try to feel it. Manipulate the size and/or shape of your energy ball. Experiment. Take an energy ball that you have made, and press the ball into your heart chakra. Press it into your 3rd eye. Press it against your skin, and see what you feel.
