Thank you for this information James (in your post, Are you free of

health insurance parasites). Yes, change is in the air. People are now

conscious about their health, they have to be considering the state

they are in. And they understand that modern medical care has not done

them any good. More people are now trying out " unscientific " methods of

treatment.

The mind-body connection theory is also gaining ground. It is great to

see that the young educated mass in India is now turning towards yoga

and spirituality in a large scale. Children are now ready to learn what

their parents and the society have not told them.

I ardently wish this change spreads to all sections of the society. The

poor, especially, should not be left out. Along with basic requirements

they should be also taught the value of compassion and care by treating

them with compassion and care.

We are now slowly moving towards a more humane society. The movement

may seem weak now but the undercurrent is strong. It is slowly being

realised that there should be a balanced development of both the inner

world and the outer world. In short we are moving towards holism.

The new society should be based on cooperation and not competition.

Sufficiency and not plenty. Spiritualism and not dehumanisation.

Religious unity and not fanaticism.

How can we help this growing movement? By changing ourselves and also

by spreading the word. By praying. By educating the next generation. It

is not enough that we become happy, we must also spread the happiness

by helping others become happy.

Regards,

Jagannath.

Dear Friends

The holism is 'wholism'. This means, living as integral with the nature.

When people are part of nature, every activity is a 'work'. For example,

breathing is an activity that procedures carbon dioxide for the plants,

human excreta is nutrition for certain plants and animal. Fruits of

these plants are food for humans. Nothing is waste, neither an activity

nor output of an activity. Because all system is integrated, there is no

division, and no need of accounting, and keeping ego of work, and

ownership over it.

'Wholism' is best illustrated by a typical Indian practice of bathing in

scared rivers. Rivers are natural formation such as ocean, clouds,

mountains, wind, sun and plants. These carry billions on tons of water

across the planet without charging any price or humiliating its

consumers. This principle made every river in India scared. Those who

bathe in rivers is called 'religious'. Water of rivers and purchased

water is not different in quality but, the consequences of using have

huge impact on sustainability of planet and its life cycles. Bath room

is unwholistic, and it is ownership. Rivers are useful and mother to all

and none owns it. This two model is in opposition.

Tribes of bath room owners are called prosperous, because they have a

minuscule power of controlling, and remain prisoners of a five star

hotel and obliged to municipality, government, hospitals, and have no

free and universal quality water. Developed people are although not

prosperous but can remain free of worries of accounting, price,

government regulation, fee of hospitals. They are bathers of rivers, and

river is their true mother.

Thanks,

K G Misra
