Guest guest
EXPLAIN THE TECHNIQUES WITH PICTURES / DRAWINGS OF RECOMMENDED EXERCISES FOR PROPER UNDERSTANDING. The Technique SIMPLE SELF-CURE FOR BACKACHE & OTHER SPINAL ACHES & PAINS A patient who suffered backaches, sciatica pain, spondylitis, knee-pain and severe headaches of migraine-type and who could not be cured by any traditional methods could cure himself within a few weeks, that too, absolutely without medicines and without any surgical procedure which was recommended by senior orthopedics. He would like to share his experiences with patients suffering around the world with similar ailments as, they too, like him must be running from pillar to post to find a cure even after spending a fortune and a bit of their life span in acute suffering. Having learnt from nature and other species like birds and animals, he started simple stretching exercises before coming out of the bed each time he slept. By trial and error, he found five exercises, each of half-a-minute duration. They cured him and with some innovations and modifications, have cured thousands of backache patients. 1. Lie straight on a hard bed facing upwards, palms under the head, relax and jerk up both the feet towards the head without moving the heels. Rotate both the feet, right foot to the right and left to the left to join them again as before. Repeat ten or more number of times. 2. Do the same movements in the reverse direction, also 10 times or more and relax. 3. Jerk up the feet upwards as in 1 above and release the pressure to go back to the original position, also ten times. 4. Draw both the feet about two feet towards you, the way it may be most convenient, as one normally does, knees raised and feet on the bed, the way one keeps them many times. Then lift up both the feet suddenly keeping the heels there only. Then strike the knees together quickly but softly and jerk back the feet with a mild thud on the bed to the original position. Repeat 10 times or more. 5. Lastly, draw back and straighten both the feet together slowly at a snail's pace and when one is fully stretched, take a deep breath and yawn to relax completely. Get up sideways using the hands as the lever without giving jerk and start walking normally. This way most backaches can be cured by the patients themselves. These are simple natural movements and cannot harm or worsen any one's health. Of course, one must follow some prescribed Do's and Don'ts of healthy eating habits and simple life-style. Some important do's and don'ts Do not lift heavy weights or heavy objects. If you must, do take some one's help who may be nearby at hand. Do not bend your back to lift anything lying on the floor. Instead, bend your knees and reach out to grab the things, so also while gardening or watering the plants. If you have to do some digging to put a plant, better sit down and do it, instead of leaning to do it. As, that puts a lot of pressure on the lower back. Do not get up from the bed after sleep or after resting a while with a sudden jerk. Instead, turn to the side and use your other free hand as a lever or support and then get up cautiously. Put your palms on your thighs above the knees to give you firm support before getting up to stand from the sitting position on the bed or the sofa or the like. Do not push heavy tables, furniture, gas cylinders, etc. If you have to move such things, then better push or pull them slowly without bending yourself at the back by putting your one foot forward before trying to pull or push things. While climbing up the stairs, hold the side railing by hand, taking some of the exertion on the hand. If the steps are too high, climb gently by putting the hand on above the knee for support. Never try to run up the stairs or jump up two steps at a time, if you are no longer a healthy child or adult, not to speak of those who are aged. Do not keep standing for long while working at the table shifting or searching papers. Better sit down and do that work; even while reading newspapers. Do not sit in inconvenient or uncomfortable postures for longer time. Do not allow indigestion or flatulence (gas) as both can give you trouble. Do not hold on or delay going to the toilet when needed as it could put undue pressure on the spine, ligaments, kidneys, bladder or the large intestines. Do keep your bowel movements free and regular. Eat more of foods having adequate dietary fiber and adequate nutrients. More of vegetables and fruits of the seasonal variety that may suit you (and less of sticky and starchy foods) should be eaten. In other words, whenever you eat, try to eat more and more things "made by God", like fresh fruits and vegetables and less and less "food made by man" and tampered by overcooking just to tickle your tongue. Adequate exercise that suits your state of health, is a must. Simple walking 3 to 5 kilometers a day is recommended. Instead of waiting in a queue for a bus on busy roads, better walk down to the nearest bus station or junction where more people get down. That would save you money, give you some extra exercise and help you to keep your weight under control. Drink plenty of water to generate about two liters of urine per day. It would help keep your internal system well flushed, avoiding even the formation of kidney stones in most cases. In summer, you may have to drink more water to make up for perspiration losses. Avoid soft drinks or fruit juices. Instead eat whole fruits as that would give you the much needed fiber and extra nutrients. Do hold on to something firmly or at least put your hands firmly on the thighs or waist, as the case may be, before sneezing to prevent back breaking jerks. While changing trousers or tying shoelaces, better sit down on the bed, sofa or a stool nearby and do that as losing you balance might hurt your back. Do not do any other exercises of a strenuous nature. In other words, do not do anything that may cancel the good effect of ATBSNR as you are stretching your body to normalcy with such a simple method; hence don't undo it. Last, but not the least, do avoid eating too much of the so-called "white poisons such as sugar, salt, fats, refined flours, eggs (meaning non-vegetarian foods and even too much of milk or milk products.
