Guest guest Posted February 21, 2006 Report Share Posted February 21, 2006 James this is exciting and amazing - I was forced to share a room one time with a friend who snored horribly and someone gave me ear plugs - I wore them and became ill - high fever and almost delirious - they were made from that foam stuff - what I am getting at is that if something can affect the immune system so strongly then something organic can equally well do good - having had that experience I often wonder if these close ear fitting hard plastic hearing aids with all sorts of mechanical and electrical apparatus in them also can make people ill - especially the elderly many of whom lose their hearing and have compromised immune systems anyway?
