Dear Mr Acharya

 

You are already in USA and would know how the minds work there?

 

To me, the expenditure of billions of dollars to " give " TM meditation to the

schools is slightly outrageous - i do not understand where the money will go or

how it will be spent. But if such a fuss is to be made then surely a big

response will be demanded! There is already a long history and framework in the

community regarding TM, the structure is already there after many long years of

work and establishing a solid organization of success.

 

So if we applaud the TM effort and success, this is not to say that we denigrate

other disciplines, and should this effort be successful what is to stop other

practises from joining the success of this first big (expensive) step?

 

There are many ways to achieve peak physical and mental health and we have to

give credit and accept all - even if we may favour a specific Technique

ourselves. People are far more likely to show interest and acceptance of our

own areas of research if we show appreciation of theirs?

 

You know like the little bird who achieved greater heights than the eagle by

flying on the eagle's back before it started its own flight?
