Dogs become pathologists

Humans bost of most intelligent specie in the world, but now this

position lost to dogs. We now have more reliable pathologists whose

accuracy is 10,000 times that of conventional medicine. By scent

alone, the canines identified 55 lung and 31 breast cancer patients

from those of 83 healthy humans. Canines' sense of smell is generally

10,000 to 100,000 times superior to that of humans. Canines also have a

greater convergence of neurons from the nose to the brain than humans

do.

Thanks Dr Bhate this is amazing - lets hope the "West" doesn't get hold of this info and subject more poor patients to chemo & radiotherapy with all this inside info - I have often thought how different dogs are with their highly sensitive noses and sense of smell their world is so different to our in this way,

Perhaps such trained dogs will be removes do that diagnostic labs do

LOL good point! Or deemed "inaccurate"! What a potential bonus though! The end of the mammogram!! A "Hooray" from all women who choose that painful path!
