Guest guest
Language of these articles is very scientific, what we remember is heavy weight words only. How does this help alternative medicine? Does alternative medicine require the help of a vaccine? Is colostrum not a adequate vaccine? Further comments in body of message. , Jagannath Chatterjee <jagchat01> wrote: > During the study, infants who received the vaccine actually had a lower incidence of intussusception: 12 cases among vaccine recipients and 15 among those who received a placebo. No other significant side effects or complications were reported. 12 against 15 cases of placebo group; is this difference statistically significant? in fact what one should compare is 12/34000 gainst 15/34000, is it worth trying a vaccine for such a small advantage? > Rotateq also proved to be effective, nearly eliminating serious rotavirus-related gastroenteritis. The vaccine reduced rotavirus- related hospital admissions by 96 percent. In addition, RotaTeq reduced rotavirus-related emergency rooms visits by 94 percent, and doctor's office visits by 86 percent. No comparative figures available between Rotateq and placebo group here? The way Rotateq infants did not come to hospital, what happened to placebo group! > " The protective effect is strongest against the most severe disease, " Matson said. Is this statement worth believing. Either I have not understood the article correctly or article is cheating. Members, make me understand.
