Why I picked on this article is that by pushing women towards having to adopt masculine qualities, we are in fact blocking all the soft and tender qualities that have nurtured humanity through the ages. Both the sexes have to understand this. The abuse of women does not augur well for the society. What sort of a masculinity is that it turns on women instead of protecting them? The dangers of a confrontation between the sexes that encourages women to adopt masculine attitudes has been dealt well in this article. brutality and crime could have been avoided if mankind could or would have addressed the issue of the over-empowerment of men.
