Guest guest
Hi Everyone, The following is recipe for a lotion for chickenpox taken from Chrissie Wildwood`s Encyclopedia of Aromatherapy. 100ml distilled water 50ml witch hazel 4 drops each Roman chamomile, lavender, eucalyptus EOs. Funnel the water and witch hazel into a dark glass bottle and add the EOs. Shake well before each use and dilute 50/50 with warm water before applying. When my daughter had chickenpox I found this to be very good at relieving the itch. I also used the same recipe but replaced the water with 100g of base cream and found this to be even better partcularly at night. It also works well on other itchy skin conditions but can be very drying. Joyce, (amateur aromaterapist, Ireland)
