Guest guest
Hi there all. I am an Aromatherapist . I live In Auckland new zealand, and have been a qualified Aromatherapist since 1989. I have worked in retail- dispensing oils and remdies, had my own practise , held seminars, and taught professional Aromatherapy. I love Aromatherapy, and use it every day for so many different things. I am looking forward to chatting to you all soon. If I can manange to tee up the times to match me! I am interested in present at Aromatherapy for animals. My dog - Border Collie has Lymphoma- cancer of the Lymph glands. Which as you can imagine is pretty fatal! So nt expecting any miracles here, have him on Predtnazone at present. I would like to use some oils on him also. I was thinking perhaps- Pine, Teatree, Lavender- for their immunostimulant properties, as cancer is the breakdown of the immune response. Have not used oils on a longhaired dog before, except for Teatree on his odd wound. And for the fleas of course. Baths are abit difficult. I would tend to go fo a spray, or compress? Any suggestions on this- no-one to chat with at present, so will check the mail later. Look forward to any ideas. As I say am not expecting miracles, he is expected to only live 2 months- seems happy enough at present, not showing any sign of pain or weakness.
