Has anyone here made their own talc/powder? I would like to make a

simple batch of natural dusting powder with tea tree oil and lavender

or other EO's. Suggestions? Recipes? Ideas?

Thanks

I make a scented cornstarch powder. I usually add about a teaspoon

of baking soda for every cup of cornstarch that I use. I put it all

in a jar and add several drops of essential oil and close it up nice

and tight and shake it really well. Let it sit overnight and adjust

the scent if need be after it's had a chance to infuse the powder.

Go easy on the scent...you can always add more. If you have it too

strong you can certainly add more cornstarch too. I have tried this

in a shaker but find that cornstarch tends to clump a lot so I

switched to a puff instead. I just made one from some fake fur. You

can also use arrowroot powder if you'd rather...it works the same as

cornstarch does for me. Good luck!
