Donna,

quite useful information. I would enjoy hearing about any other uses of eo

in a clinical setting.''

That would take me just too long to do. In just that one study I quoted,

namely 'The use of Aromatherapy in Intrapartum Midwifery Practice' : July

'99 by E Burns et al 10 different EOs were available for use based on their

presumptive properties. They were Lavendula augustifolia, Boswellia carteri,

Salvia sclarea, Mentha piperita, Citrus limonum, Citrus reticulata, Rosa

centifolia, Jasminum grandiflorum, Eucalyptus globulus and Chamaemelum

nobile. I just concentrated on the results found with Frankincense

(Boswellia carteri) because that EO is one of my favorites. However, there

were some interesting observations made for some of the other oils also -

both +ve and -ve.

I guess over time as different questions pop up on the list I will post

other information based on the foregoing, other studies and my own and other

therapists experience.

Donna ..take care .. Richard (Ipswich, UK)
