Guest guest
Hi Sheila, I think the best to be used for eczema is rosehip seed oil. If you want to work with just one or two oils, then I would recommend the Helichrysum and Chamomile. Hope this helps ) Dianna
Guest guest
Hi, I really don't know how much help this will be but I've been having great luck with Lavender eo around here lately. I have some unexplained rash that shows up once in awhile and when it first appeared it was very large and I used to cry because it itched so much I had to scratch it which made it worse. I recently had a small reoccurance and put straight lavender on it right away and it took the itching away instantly. My son also gets a few really itchy episodes on his feet and hands once in awhile and putting lavender eo on it settles him down right away. It is really soothing. I'm not really familiar with excema and don't know if it would be a good idea neat on an open part of the skin, but just to relieve the itching, could be something to try. Maybe in a healing salve it could be a good idea. Let me know if you have recieved any info, I may be able to ask a few people. Guest guest
Good Morning, I have seen this problem on a large scale here in Montreal, it makes me think about the water. Many young mothers are suffering from this skin disorder. I have done case studies on this and amoung the ladies I studied, 2 out of 3 clear up once they return to Lebanon. So, the common items I have noticed are: climate, water, latex gloves (unlined), in Lebanon the latex gloves are thick, and lined with 100% cotton. I would recommend Roman Chamomile in a hand cream for relief of itch and redness. Just my observation. Guest guest
The only proviso I would give with Chamomile is to be careful if asthma is also present. I had a client with ezcema on her hands, who became very wheezy when I used Chamomile. She has not had similar problems with Frankincense and the ezcema is slowly improving.
